Hi, I’m Alex White (which you probably know from the name of this blog). Anyway I love to make cartoons in my free time. It can be hard work but the end result is worth the effort. Read below for what you will need to make cartoons on an apple mac.
If you would like to make cartoons at home it's easier than you think, but there are a few things you will need. Firstly some good software for your computer. I use one called pencil, which is free to download (here’s the website: http://www.pencil-animation.org) and great to use. I suggest spending a while getting to grips with it. The second thing you will need is a graphics tablet. These allow you to draw straight onto the computer as if drawing on paper. DO NOT try to make cartoons on the computer with a mouse (it will not work)! Lastly you need a lot of patience. You mustn’t give up. Thanks for reading.
